I looooove this dress to bits. Teeny tiny bits. Bits so small, they aren't even possible to see (Okay, I think you've got it by now :p) Just wanted to post this photo of Mischa Barton in that dream of a yellow dress, so you all could, I don't know, maybe drool over it?! Well, that's what I did anyway... ;)
I have seen a few pictures of Mischa and her style lately, and I have to say that I am mighty impressed! I am definitely a big fan of some of the things she has worn!
Well, I'll leave you know by saying how much I looooove this dress, and I think it'll be in my head for days and days...and days!!

Sienna; The "Bummer"
On Monday night; the night of the premiere of Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly, the Metropolitan Opera was filled with stars. Everyone from Sir Sean Connery to Susan Sarandon to Liv Tyler attended, and even the luvvy duvvy couple, Sienna Miller and Jude Law, had the time to pop by.
At one point in the evening, Sienna went up to a reporter, and asked: "Can I be really annoying and bum a smoke? I'm from London. We're not used to this 'no smoking' thing!"
Well, she's definitely my kind of girl ;-p

Meet Matthew Williamson - The Fashion Genius
I know I'm a bit behind, but I just got to have a look at Matthew Williamson's Spring/Summer 2007 collection yesterday! I know, I know...it's a bit late, but better later than never (or something like that ;p)
I am a great Matthew Willamson fan from before, and I have to say that that hasn't change one little bit. After seeing these photos, I think I love him even more!
The thing that I have always liked with Matthew's clothes, is that they are always so feminine and they are so vibrant and "full of life". I just look at them, and I feel so drawn to me...they speak to me...hehe;p
It was extremely hard to only choose a few outfits from the collection as my favourites, because there were so, so many, but here are my ABSOLUTE favourites (though I loved all of his outfits, and they are all my favourites!!)
Gorgeous shorts, gorgeous top, gorgeous coat, gorgeous sunglasses, gorgeous shoes, gorgeous everything!
Leggings are here to stay, people! I love them with this pretty thing of a dress. The black gives it a hint of mystery, but the beautiful, shimmery pattern makes it fun and oh, so special. The shoes are wonderful, by the way.
The one thing I can say about this dress, is "WOW!" I am in love with this dress; the cut, the pattern, the colour...the whole thing is fabulous, dahlin'!
This dress is very chic and elegant. It could be used as a relaxed evening dress, or it could be used when you're doing a bit of shopping before heading straight to a friend's summer garden party. Oh, all the visions I get just looking at this dress!
Again this colour...it's one of the most beautiful colours I have ever laid my eyes on. This is such a city chic outfit, and I'll definitely be strolling down the street next summer with something inspired by this :)
Okay, I can't explain why, but I think these silver tights are amazing. I wouldn't wear them myself though, but they look fantastic with this classy, "flower power" tunic.
Such a sweet outfit! I'm in love!
Gorgeous dress! Very sophisticated, and very fashion editor-ish! The colours are great, and it's, just like the whole of Matthew Williamson's S/S 07 collection, created by a fashion genius!

After a request from my fellow blogger and friend (;)), Frapp, I've decided to do a post on the DKNY collection. To be honest, I have never really been a great fan of DKNY's clothes, but when I sat down to look through the runway photos, I have to say that I was positivly surprised. A lot of the womens' range is actually very classy, in a way, and very street chic. When it comes to mens' line...well, I wish I was a boy, to put it like that! I just love it! It's as simple as that.
Hope you'll like these outfits I have chosen, and by the way...check out Frapps' bloggs, "Frapp Fashion" and "What's haute". They are well worth a visit! You'll find them in the link section ;)
I have to start off with this absolutely gorgeous trenchcoat! The colour and the shape are perfect. I am definiteley going to get myself something similar to this, because this is such a "WOW!" trench! Perfect for the autumn.
Okay, I mentioned earlier that the clothes for men were amazing. Look at this...I know it's simple, but that's the whole charm of it! It just oozes classiness and sophistication.
The DKNY collection have a lot of these pretty, girly dresses. They have them in many lengths and colours, but I prefer this one! I've got a thing for black and yellow teamed together (though I never wear those two colours together...I would look like a bumblebee!), and this is the perfect dress for girls who are fun and a bit quirky!
This is what a true rock n' roll guy should look like! And that's that!
Many of DKNY's outfits were teamed with a bag like you see in the picture above. I am not a great fan of them, but what I am a fan of is that gorgeous grey jacket. The skirt is cute, and I love the colour of the top and the way it's used with the grey.
Love it, love it, love it! I can't explain what it is, but it must be that subtle ooze of something again. Maybe they should get rid of that cap, maybe not?! Maybe the outfit becomes too boring without it?
Here is another one of those cute and girly dresses I was talking about. The pink goes extremely well with the purple, and with the headband and the make-up it gives us the impression of a sweet, innocent little girl...but who also has a little wild side ;)
One of my absolute favourite outfits for men from the collection. This outfit is awesome! It is so laidback and chill, and it's simply an outfit that draws attention, in a subtle and cool way.
Oh, my gosh! This dress is adorable. I want one so badly, and I want it now! ;)
First I thought that the DKNY collection was a not for me, but not went quickly to hot!

So...I thought I would start off with one of my favourite designers from New York Fashion Week. Yes, you guessed right...Zac Posen is the man. The man who creates clothes which are impossible not to be amazed by.
Friday 15 September, the 26 year old fashion designer showed off his S/S 07 collection in New York. The creations which glided down the catwalk were both mouth-watering and breath-taking. It is not very hard to be amazed by this man's talent. Zac Posen is an extremely gifted designer, and he showed us that with his new, stunning collection.
Here are a few pictures from the show, so you can see with your own eyes what I am talking about.
This was the very first picture I saw of Zac Posen's Spring/Summer 2007 collection. The yellow is such a fresh and summery colour, and the flowy fabric is so gorgeous. This is definitely one of my favourite dresses for the S/S 07 season!
I have absolutely fallen head-over-heels in love with this green silk (I think?) scarf! It creates such a bold contrast to the gold-beige, and...oh...well, it's just a daring combination which I think works wonderfully.
I adore this bag. It is such a sophisticated and rich ladiesbag, which I can picture all the fashion editors carrying around. The gold-beige and white is such a classy colour combination, and I am definitely going to try this.
Whoever said that wearing red and pink together is a fashion no-no, better go bite his or her tongue. Just look at this beautiful dress! The red colour makes the dress sexy and passionate, and the pink bow adds a cuteness which any girly-girl will fall in love with.
Are you an office woman? Bored with all the stiff suits which give no room for variation? Get some inspiration from Mr. Posen, and go for a fun, elegant and a bit crazy version of the secretary look. If I was a secretary, I would definitely wear something like this ;-)
Just look at this masterpiece of a dress. Stunning, isn't it? This is my vision of a perfect fairytale princess dress, and it simply sums up Zac Posen's talent and creativity to the point. He most certainly is a man who designs clothes which are extremely hard not to love.
I have been looking at a few photos from Fashion Week, and I think, no, I KNOW that the Spring/Summer 2007 will be an amazing season with so many goodies to choose from! Look forward to it...I most definitely am ;-)
I was thinking about writing and, of course, posting some pictures from New York Fashion Week, but there are so many talented and extraordinary fashion designers to choose from. I have absolutely no idea where to begin!
So I could need some of your help! If you write down one or two (or all!) of your favourite designers from New York Fashion Week, I'll most definitely post something about them! That would be absolutely grand, and I can't wait to hear who your fave designers are:-)
In the meantime, I will write a bit about one of my S/S 07 fashion designers, Zac Posen, and post some gorgeous pictures from his show, and I will post them as soon as possible! Look forward to it...they are fantastic!
An Awesome Pair
Please forgive me...I know I've already posted a picture of Kate Moss in this gorgeous outfit, but I just couldn't control myself. This photo of Jade Jagger and Kate Moss is a reflection of both their styles, and they show us again and again how they can create outfits that people all over the place pine for. Kate and Jade are such an awesome pair!
To say a little bit about Jade's dress:
Her corsett dress is decorated with green metallic sequins, and to be honest with you, I have no other word to describe it than divine. It's simply just divine.

Someone please tell me why Kate Moss always gets it right? How is that possible? What is it with this wonderwoman who, so easily, can throw together an outfit just like that? What magical powers has she got? Because every single time I see a new picture of Kate Moss in one of her gorgeous outfits, she spellbounds me and I can't help but drool over it!!
The thing that struck me the most is the belt she is wearing. I've never seen anything like it before; it's like a larger version of the famous waistbelt. It is so incredible...I have trouble tearing my eyes away from it! I would love to buy a belt like this, and I think we are seeing a little trend emerging here...who knows, maybe we all will be wearing belts like this soon?!
This picture is from the Another Magazine's party which was for Kirsten Dunst, the covergirl, at Milk Studios. But poor Kirsten, I bet Kate got a lot more attention for her outfit!

Okay, just check out these Rachel Bilson photos. I have something to admit: I have been staring at these for days. I have simply not been able to take my eyes off them! I don't really know what has made me so obsessed about them, but I am totally in love with these outfits!
Maybe it's the way the red tights create such a bold contrast to the simple, stylish black victorian dress? Or maybe it's because the tights in itself is so interesting? (I have never seen red tights before...only dull colours like black, white and grey)
It might be the slight rock-chic thing that she has got going on, or it just might be the simplicity in her outfit and her adorable cuteness that makes her stand out in a crowd?
Well who knows what it is, but something I know for certain is that I am definitely going out to get some red tights!

We are well into September, and the autumn is slowly creeping up on us. Then it's great to have something warm to cover your head with, but the question is: "What to choose?"
The famous trilby, which fashion icons like Kate Moss and Mischa Barton have been seen wearing, is one of the many different hats to choose from. There is a huge selection to choose from, so if you want a grunge look, a cute look, a chic look, or even a look à la Kate Moss, there is a hat out there for you.
I think that a trilby is at it's best teamed with skinny jeans...don't ask me why...it's just how I think a trilby looks it's best! It also looks good with all-black ensembles (check out the Kate Moss photo). Just add a hint of colour, via a scarf or a bag!A scarf is a great option if you're not that into hats. Tie it a few times around your head, and let the ends lie loose around your shoulders. I would definitely go for a really bright-coloured one like Nicole Richie's red Alexander McQeen scarf (or her green one or her blue one...well, she's got them all that girl, so you can just take your pick!) Have a look at the picture of Nicole Richie, and I think you'll agree that her outfit would have looked very dull and ordinary if it wasn't for that beautiful, colourful scarf...!
And by the way, a scarf or a hat is perfect if you ever have a bad hair day!

How To Master: Layering
The cold weather is slowly creeping up on us, and many people aren't sure what to wear for the autumn/winter season. Some really hate these seasons because they have to dress up when it's cold, and they don't really know what to wear or how to look great and stay warm at the same time. In my case I simply love cold weather (cold, not freezing!), and dressing up for it. That is because I love love love to layer!
Many people tend to just wear hoodies with a t-shirt or a top underneath, and that tends to make them look a little bulky. Try layering with different pieces like a long tank top underneath a v-neck sweater. Team that with skinny jeans, ballet flats, colourful scarves and throw on a warm jacket. Well, that's one option out of many ways to layer!
Here are some of my autumn/winter-layering must-haves:
~ lots and lots of tank tops (they can be used with so much!)
~ fitted blazers (thicker material to keep warm)
~ leggings (great way to look great in the cold weather)
~ a few nice jackets
~ one amazing coat
~ big and beautiful scarves
~ hat to protect ears
~ gloves in black leather (I think they're called motorcycle gloves...?!)
~ v-necks & sweaters in all shapes and sizes
~ jeans and skirts to wear over leggings
~ baggy leather jacket
I've probably forgotten some things, so if there's anything you think should be on the list just write it down :-)
Dressing for autumn and winter is supposed to be fun and it is supposed to inspire you to experiment with great pieces. Even though it's a while until the winter comes (hopefully!!) it's all about picking up some great pieces and mix n' match!
The art of layering is a little tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll never ever forget it! ;)
Picture above of Mary-Kate Olsen; the absolute queen of layering!
Clutch That Clutch
The new "it" bag is the clutch. And yes, as you might have guessed, it's a purse which is designed to be "clutched" in one's hand!
The clutch bag is sassy and sexy, and it is something that I can picture Carrie Bradshaw carrying around in the stylish streets of New York City. Trendsetters like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have been photographed with an adorable clutch bag each at the Balenciaga Book Party at Barney's.
These beautiful bags can be found in sizes from XXS to XXL. There's an enormous selection of clutches in beautiful colours and prints; from pale pastels to bold and bright!
I only have one clutch bag; a beautiful medium-sized black one (but I will definitely be getting a few more) It's so versatile, and I wear it with everything from colourful dresses to white boho blouses to worn-in black skinny jeans.
It's the perfect bag to glam up a slightly dull and boring outfit!
Even though they have been on the market for quite some time now, ballet flats are hotter than ever!
I absolutely love and adore my flats. They are so comfy, cute and sophisticated, and starlets like Audrey Hepburn to Sienna Miller have been eager to wear them for a long, long time.
You can get them in so many different colours, patterns, shapes and sizes...it's only your imagination that can stop you! You'll be amazed when you see all the various flats that actually are available.
